When: Thursday, February 15, 12-1 pm; Q&A Session 2-3 pm

Megan Begert from Syracuse University will be discussing The Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs.
These are great programs for students studying political science, international relations, and the social sciences who may be interested in the exciting global and domestic professional careers in foreign service, nonprofit leadership, or the federal government (to name a few).
The Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs is home to the nation’s number-one Master of Arts in Public Administration program and a top-ranked Master of Arts in International Relations.

Pittsburgh Urban Leadership Service Experience (PULSE) Information Session (Pizza Provided)

When: Monday, February 19, 12-1 pm

Where: Campus Center 3033

What: PULSE cultivates a community of young servant leaders to transform Pittsburgh. They invite talented university graduates to partner with Pittsburgh nonprofits to develop the next generation of servant leaders in our city. Nonprofit partners receive a young, talented, university graduate to build capacity in their organization while participants receive valuable job training and skill development. Hannah Green ’17 is currently serving as a PULSE Fellow!

Full-Time Entry Level Junior Java Software Engineer with Coveros

Marco Corona ’14 will return to campus to interview graduating seniors for an entry-level Junior Java Software Engineer position with Coveros.
All graduating seniors with a computer science background are encouraged to apply and interview- because why not!?

PULSE 2018-2019 Fellows Application Due March 1

SERVE WITH A PITTSBURGH NONPROFIT. LIVE IN COMMUNITY. GROW AS A LEADER.

STEPS IN THE PULSE APPLICATION PROCESS

  1. Learn more about PULSE by reading the PULSE Participant General Information 18-19.
  2. APPLY TO PULSE.  The application deadline is March 1, 2018.
  3. Interview via Google Hangout or On-Site in Pittsburgh.
  4. Receive offer from PULSE to join program.
  5. Sign letter of commitment and agree to join the program.
  6. Visit Pittsburgh for PULSEStart (Nonprofit Partner Interviews) July 14-17 2018.
  7. Review and decide on nonprofit partner offers.
  8. Move into one of the PULSE houses and start your year with PULSE.

The program runs August 25, 2018 – August 4, 2019.
