Redevelopment Authority of the City of Meadville

The Redevelopment Authority of the City of Meadville is the lead agency in downtown and neighborhood revitalization in the City of Meadville. They capitalize on our natural environment to build a vibrant community with full employment, an expanding tax base and attractive cultural and recreational opportunities. While at this location, Ryan will continue his work as a Davies Leader from the summer of 2008. He will continue to be part of the Main Street Program and the redevelopment of downtown Meadville with the goal to preserve promote and improve the historic character, arts, culture and educational opportunities and act as a catalyst for development in the community.

Ryan is a very strong Davies Leader and has involved many Allegheny Students in his leadership work. Ryan has been part of many campus events promoting community involvement and community service. Recently, Ryan was one of three speakers at the 1st All Service Leaders Dinner. He spoke highly of his experience with volunteer work and his work as a Davies Leader. Ryan continues to be enthusiastic about his work for the Redevelopment Authority. He has gained a great deal of knowledge about Meadville and strongly promotes local transportation.

Ryan is from Wattsburg, PA. He is a junior year at Allegheny College and is majoring in Environmental Science. His minor is Psychology. Ryan has been part of Allegheny’s Alternative Spring Break, the Collegiate Leadership Conference (CLC) and the Jamaica Mission Trips.
