Allegheny College maintains several offices and resources that are committed to supporting the campus community and addressing questions or concerns regarding conduct that is not consistent with the College’s expectations.
Counseling & Personal Development Center
The Counseling Center offers individual counseling for a variety of personal, academic and career-related issues. Allegheny’s Counseling Center is a safe place to talk with someone privately about any concern. This may include stress, loneliness, anxiety, depression, adjustment challenges, relationship difficulties, questions about identity, managing an existing mental health condition, or other issues.

The Bias Education and Response Team, in the Office of the Dean for Institutional Diversity, works to provide an opportunity for students, faculty and staff to be heard and supported.
All members of the Allegheny College community have a responsibility to contribute to, and maintain, a welcoming and inclusive environment. Incident of bias should be reported immediately.
Title IX Officer
The Title IX Officer works to assure compliance with all aspects of Title IX, related state and federal laws, and Allegheny College’s Policy Against Discriminatory and Sexual Harassment. The Title IX Coordinator plays an important role in the College’s efforts to maintain and improve a positive, safe and gender-equitable campus climate for all members of the community.

The Office of the Dean of Students enriches the lives of students by providing opportunities for students to grow and learn as individuals and to develop as leaders and contributing members of the larger Allegheny, local, and global community.

The Office of Human Resources provides support services to all departments of the College. Our employees come from the surrounding areas as well as all parts of the United States and other countries. Though diverse, we believe in one main goal: providing quality higher education.
