French Creek Watershed Program

French Creek , listed by the Nature Conservancy as one of the thirty most important freshwater bodies in the U.S., flows across northwestern Pennsylvania and is a natural laboratory for watershed research projects. Professor O’Brien received funding from the National Science Foundation to develop a teaching and research program on the French Creek watershed. So far, over 12 Allegheny students have been involved in this program. Learn more about this program at the French Creek Watershed Research Program web site.
