Immunizations are a vital part of your medical history and should be retained in your personal medical files. In pursuant to PA Code 563.6., we are required to keep records for seven years, however, WHC’s current policy is to maintain alumni health records for ten years post graduation or withdrawal from Allegheny (subject to change without notice). The latest year’s records to be destroyed are done in May/June after the current class has graduated.
Records may be requested using the Authorization: Disclosure of Health Care Information form, which may be found on our forms page.
If you are outside the 10 year window and need immunization records, WHC suggests researching the options listed on the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) web-page article “Vaccine Information for Adults.”
