Allegheny College, a member of the NCAA Division III and North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC), is currently seeking applications to fill an Assistant Men’s Soccer Coaching position. This is a full-time, eleven-month position that includes basic medical coverage and a competitive salary. The ideal candidate is seeking advanced experience in the college coaching profession and will be provided professional development opportunities as a part of this program. A Bachelor’s degree is required; however a master’s degree is preferred.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist head coach with the organization and direction of all aspects of a competitive men’s soccer program. Experience in recruiting quality student-athletes and expertise with Front Rush required. Specific responsibilities include coaching goalkeepers, executing goalkeeper training sessions and evaluations; regular practice sessions and game preparation; and assist with overseeing the administrative process for team travel, program budgets, public/alumni relations and promoting the philosophy and objectives of the Department of Athletics and Recreation. The successful candidate should have the ability to analyze team video, scout opponents, as well as understand the Division III philosophy and thrive in an extremely motivated, team oriented atmosphere. Event management and summer facility responsibilities will also be assigned by the Athletic Director.
