Bonner Program Coordinator

Allegheny College, a small selective national liberal arts college, invites applications for the position of Bonner Program Coordinator. The position is a full-time, exempt, administrative position reporting to the Associate Director of Civic Engagement & Bonner Program Director in the Allegheny Gateway. The Allegheny College Gateway supports students as they explore their interests, turn those interests into experience, and then apply what they’ve learned to opportunities both in their careers and in their communities.

The Bonner Program Coordinator is responsible for working with the 60-member Bonner Service Leader Program and supporting various civic engagement and community service programs on campus and in the community. The Coordinator works with a broad range of diverse students including first generation students.

A bachelor degree with a minimum of one year of experience in civic engagement or a related field is expected.  Demonstrated cultural competency in working with students from diverse backgrounds is
preferred.
