Candidates are responsible for the administration and management of all aspects of a highly successful and competitive varsity swimming and diving program. A Bachelor’s degree is required; however a Master’s degree is preferred. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, recruit and retain qualified student-athletes, practice and meet preparation, student-athlete development, coaching, budget management, travel coordination, and other areas of sport administration. The ideal candidate will have previous college coaching experience and an understanding of the DIII philosophy and its role at a private liberal arts institution. They must also possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills, communicate effectively (verbal and written), have the ability to multi-task and operate within an extremely motivated, team oriented atmosphere. Additional responsibilities include aquatic director duties with oversight of lifeguards, scheduling and outside programs to be assigned by the Director of Athletics and Recreation.
