Student Life Coordinator – Advising

Allegheny College, a small selective national liberal arts college, invites applications for the position of Student Life Coordinator – Advising.  The position is a full-time exempt position reporting to the Director of Student Leadership and Involvement.  The Office of Student Leadership and Involvement supports the holistic development of students by providing meaningful opportunities for leadership development, social interaction, community building, and educational growth.

The Student Life Coordinator – Advising position is primarily responsible for advising student groups (including Fraternity and Sorority Life and Grounds for Change). This position will work closely with the other Student Life Coordinators to provide front-line support for students. This position will participate in Allegheny Orientation programs. This position will be a member of the on-call team. and live on campus in a house or apartment with an exterior door.

Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree is required, Master’s degree preferred in Higher Education, Student Affairs, Educational Leadership or other related field; previous experience with Student Involvement and Fraternity and Sorority Life preferred.
