Visiting Assistant Professor of Communication and Cultural Studies. The Department of Communication, Film, and Theatre invites applicants for a visiting one-year replacement position beginning August 2021. Ideal candidates will have experience and success teaching undergraduate courses in media and cultural studies, digital culture, and critical/cultural methodologies. A Ph.D. or a terminal degree in communication/cultural studies by the time of appointment is strongly preferred, though ABD candidates will also be considered. Teaching load is six courses per year (3-3). All faculty are expected to participate in delivering college-wide first-year/sophomore seminars. Opportunities and support for research and scholarly activity are available. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
