As previously announced by Microsoft, support for the Windows 10 operating system ends in October 2025, and in response, Allegheny ITS has begun updating campus devices to Windows 11. For compatible devices, the update will be deployed overnight with no significant impact on a user\u2019s current environment. End users will receive further instructions in the week leading up to their college-issued device\u2019s scheduled update. Publicly accessible devices will be updated over summer break.<\/p>\n
