Do You Want to Become a Consultant?
Consultants in the Learning Commons know how to interact with their peers in a supportive, non-judgmental way. They also know a lot about their subject matter and are always eager to learn more. The various branches of the Learning Commons have different ways of determining who will be a consultant, but most consultants are selected after receiving a faculty recommendation and going through an interview. They then undergo training to help them prepare to work as consultants.
