Media Copying & Conversion
Within the limits of the fair use of copyrighted material and as needed to support courses, if a title is not available on a streaming platform, the Library will transfer audio and video materials from one media format to another. We are able to work with almost all formats. Please be aware that copyright restrictions do not allow us to copy from one format to another if the title is available commercially in the target format. Such titles must be purchased in the new format. The Library will assist with locating such materials.
The Library will convert VHS titles to DVD as needed by the faculty for class purposes only if the VHS tape is part of the Pelletier collection or personally owned by the requesting faculty member.
