Scheduled Maintenance

Occasionally, it will be necessary for Library and Information Technology Services (LITS) to suspend one or more central servers or enterprise system for maintenance reasons. Scheduling of maintenance windows for enterprise systems will be managed through change control process overseen by the Director of Enterprise Services.  When such actions are necessary, LITS will endeavor to select a time to do so that will inconvenience as few users as possible and will notify users of the affected system at least two business days in advance. On very rare occasions, it may be necessary to conduct system maintenance at less convenient times or on shorter notice. Notice of system maintenance that requires service suspension will be posted on the LITS website, and staff at the LITS InfoDesk will know about ongoing system maintenance so that they can assist users who might contact LITS.
