By drawing resources together, communication is streamlined and information is easier than ever to find.<\/li>\n<li><strong>As a student\/employee, do I need to do anything such as register?<\/strong> Your email is registered with Gator Hub, but you first need to log in by visiting\u00a0 gatorhub.allegheny.edu. You can use your Allegheny credentials to log in.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Does the site work on my mobile device?<\/strong> Yes! Gator Hub is both a desktop and a mobile app. You can access all of the tools, notifications, and conversations through your phone.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Does my Google SSO login work with the Gator Hub?<\/strong> Yes! You don&#8217;t need a new username and password, simply use your Allegheny email and password to get in.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Does the Gator Hub replace the Google Workspace or MyAllegheny?<\/strong> Gator Hub does not replace the College&#8217;s Google products, but it does provide one place to access Drive and all of the other Allegheny technologies and tools. It also replaces in part our current My Allegheny.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Will I still get a MyAllegheny email each day? <\/strong>All notifications will be sent via Gator Hub once it is live. You will receive notifications on your Gator Hub app just as you would with other apps. In addition, you&#8217;ll be able to post and receive comments from your student groups, Class Deans, and more. Refer to our <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/calendar.google.com\/calendar\/embed?src=c_r12k55mn21e9q0hcsf1l10id28%40group.calendar.google.com&amp;ctz=America%2FNew_York\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">scheduled webinars calendar<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to avoid date conflicts. In certain circumstances and potentially on short notice (if the President\u2019s Office needs to host a webinar, for example) we may need to supersede your event. We will do our best to avoid this.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In your request form, we will collect information from you such as the date and time, the host, and the panelists. Additional panelists can be added up to the day of the event and should be submitted at one time.<\/span><\/p>\n<a target=\"_self\" class=\"button button-medium normal yellow \" href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/8teU1XZStS8GAaUi9\">Request a Webinar<\/a>\n<h4><b>Once your webinar request has been approved:<\/b><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Request a Zoom license from LITS; that email will be the person logging on to host the webinar (they will need the date of the event, some time after which your license will expire)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Let us know once you have that license, and schedule your walkthough session with us, if interested<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are a number of settings that will have to be changed in Zoom, so the host should log onto their event, which will be in practice mode, and change them ahead of time.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recommended options:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Anonymous questions? We recognize that email is an efficient, cost-effective way to do this. We also recognize that mass broadcast email can be viewed as unwelcome, especially if the individual has not opted into and consented to receive the email notification.<\/p>\n<h4>What constitutes a broadcast email?<\/h4>\n<p>Broadcast email at Allegheny College is defined as targeted email that is sent to specific audiences using lists that are built by Information Technology Services (ITS). Members of the Allegheny community cannot opt out of receiving these communications.
