Interested in participating in a Crawford Central School District and Allegheny College collaboration? Have you taken or are you currently in a 200-level or above language class at Allegheny? If you answered “yes” to both of these, consider participating in the World Language Program internship that sends Allegheny students to fifth-grade classes to provide an introduction to foreign language and global culture. Students give a lesson a week and are supported by classroom teachers in the schools; at the end of the semester, students have a portfolio that documents their experience and lesson plans. If you’re interested in completing the internship and earning two credits this semester through the World Language Program, please contact Professor Teresa Herrera, therrera@allegheny.edu, for more information.
