In an effort to bring together a number of ongoing efforts to think about advising on campus, the Provost would like to invite interested faculty and staff to attend a meeting over lunch on March 29 in the Collaboratory. The gathering is meant to provide a space for us to remind ourselves of our advising strengths, talk openly about our challenges, and begin to figure out how to reinforce the various advising efforts going on across campus. In particular, we hope to leverage our existing strengths in group advising to plan a more widespread initiative for the next academic year.
