Professor of Psychology Joshua Searle-White will present “The Weekend Workshop,” an original one-person play that takes on the self-help movement, new-age spirituality and fringe psychology, at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, January 19, and Saturday, January 20, at the Meadville Community Theatre in the Odd Fellows Building. The show is connected to FSPSY201, “The Human Potential Movement,” showing that no topic is so important that it can’t be made fun of. It is directed by Allegheny alum Dan Winston and stage-managed by LeeAnn Yeckley. Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for adults and can be reserved by calling the theatre at (814) 333-1773.
