Dr. Brooke Bocast, a candidate for the open position in Global Health Studies, will deliver a research talk titled “Sex and Sensitization: Mediations of Modern Womanhood in Kampala, Uganda” on Monday, January 29, in Schultz East Alcove. Lunch will be provided beginning at noon; the presentation will begin promptly at 12:20 p.m. Dr. Bocast specializes in medical anthropology and studies linkages between sexuality and reproduction, health disparities, and state policy in East and Southern Africa. She is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in the School of Public Health at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. The campus community is invited to attend.
