The Community Wellness Initiative, in partnership with MyMeadville, is hosting a Community Reading Series. Six resident-led reading groups will meet regularly through the month of March to discuss the book “Building a Healthy Economy from the Bottom Up: Harnessing Real-World Experience for Transformative Change.” Each group will meet at a regular time and place to discuss the book and share ideas leading up to a visit by the book’s author, Anthony Flaccavento. The on-campus reading group will take place on Fridays at 8 a.m. in Grounds For Change. Flaccavento will give a public talk in Edinboro on Tuesday, April 3, and will facilitate a lunchtime discussion in Meadville on Wednesday, April 4. A select number of books will be available at a reduced cost. You can register at www.mymeadville.org/read or by calling Autumn Vogel at (412) 897-3630.
