The Title IX Office is planning “Listening Circles” for students (10–15 students per group) on the following dates:
Monday, September 17, noon–1:30 pm
Monday, September 24, 3:00–4:30 pm
Tuesday, October 2, 7:00–8:30 pm
The “Listening Circles” will focus on the following areas: questions for the Title IX Coordinator about process, reflections on the process, concerns participants have about the Title IX process, resources and support needed to enhance the participants understanding of the process. This feedback will help shape future training and conversations with students. The Listening Circles will be co-hosted by Shanna Kirschner, Associate Professor and Chair, Department of Political Science, Affiliated Faculty in International Studies, and Coordinator, Middle East and North African Studies.
