Please join Allegheny’s Law & Policy Program in welcoming writer Jeffrey Ball to campus. Ball will give a talk called “Sharp Fights and Hard Lessons in the Global Race for Cleaner Energy” on Tuesday, September 25, at 7 p.m. in the Tillotson Room of the Tippie Alumni Center. Ball’s work focuses on energy and the environment. He is also scholar-in-residence at Stanford University’s Steyer-Taylor Center for Energy Policy and Finance and a lecturer at Stanford Law School. Ball’s writing has appeared in The Atlantic, Fortune, the New Republic, Foreign Affairs, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and Slate, among other publications. At Stanford, Ball launched and directs the Roble Living Laboratory for Sustainability at Stanford, an initiative that encourages students to wrestle daily with the possibilities and difficulties of living more sustainably.
