The 2019 India EL Information Session will be Tuesday, October 16, from 12:30 to 1:20 p.m. in Campus Center 302.
EXL 594: INDIA EL (4 Course credits). Co-directed by Prof. Ishita Sinha Roy (Communication Arts) and Prof. Beth Watkins (Theater)
Travel dates: May 13–June 03, 2019

Earn four-course credits while traveling for 21 days across 5,000 years of history. Explore the most diverse democracy in the world. Learn about globalization 2.0 from a non-western perspective. Study the amazing capacity for accommodation and innovation that is defining India as an emerging power. We also compare what is happening politically and culturally in that sub-continent with similar trends in America, and unpack what the similarities and differences teach us. Come, challenge your assumptions about the developing world!
