This year, Allegheny College has been awarded a National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Connections planning grant. This grant is focused on assessing and proposing ideas for strengthening interdisciplinary work at Allegheny, especially as it involves the arts and humanities. As part of this work, the steering committee would like to gauge community interest in the proposed initiatives of the grant and to gather community perceptions about interdisciplinary experiences on campus. To read a brief summary of the grant, please see the NEH Connections page. To participate in our brief survey about interdisciplinary work at Allegheny, please complete this form. Members of the NEH Connections planning grant steering committee include: M. Soledad Caballero, Terri Carr, Becky Dawson, Alexis Hart, Brad Hersh, Briana Lewis, Aimee Knupsky, Adrienne Krone, Alyssa Ribiero, Byron Rich, Barbara Shaw, and Lisa Whitenack. Please feel free to contact any member of the steering committee with ideas and to express interest in participating in this work.
