Come live in Ireland, in the small coastal town of Dingle, one of the few Gaeltacht (Irish-speaking) towns remaining, while learning about past and current childhood health disparities. Participate in site visits and meet regional experts to see first hand how Ireland rose in only 60 years from one of the poorest in Europe to ranked 13th best health-care system in the world, according to the Lancet’s GBD ranking system. Earn up to 4 credits for an intensive course taught by Allegheny and Sacred Heart faculty.
