Lake Effect Leaders AmeriCorps VISTA Project is accepting over 20 applications for the 2019-20 service term. Interested individuals can apply here. AmeriCorps VISTA members serve as a catalyst for change, living and working alongside community members to meet our nation’s most pressing challenges and advance local solutions. Lake Effect Leaders projects for 2019-20 are focused in the areas of education, health, homelessness and housing, neighborhood revitalization, the opioid crisis, workforce development, and more. Each of the 20+ VISTA members that serves with Lake Effect Leaders serves at an individual site located in either Erie County or Crawford County. Program benefits include: relocation allowance, post service cash award or education award, professional development/trainings, bi-weekly stipend, health coverage, and more.
