Presentation on Pentecostalism in Jamaica by Candidate for Religious Studies Position: 2/4

Dr. Kijan Bloomfield will publicly present her ongoing research in a presentation titled: “Refuge and Deliverance: Pentecostalism, Politics, and Spiritual Warfare in Jamaica” at 6:15 p.m. Monday, February 4, in Gillespie Study in Brooks Hall. Dr. Bloomfield is a candidate for the tenure-track position in Religious Studies in race, religion, and the African Diaspora. She will also lead a teaching demonstration on revivalism in Jamaica at 4:20 p.m. on Monday, February 4, in the Gillespie Study.
