On Tuesday, April 23, the Allegheny College Department of Music will present a concert of instrumental chamber and small ensemble music. This concert will be in place of the previously scheduled instrumental chamber ensembles concert, which was originally planned for Thursday, April 25, in Ford Chapel. The new concert at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, the 23rd, will take place in the lobby of the Henderson Campus Center. The program will feature ensembles including the Allegheny college “Gatorbones,” the Flute Ensemble, and the Brass Ensemble. Music to be performed includes that of the composers Haydn, Mozart, Wagner, Bernstein, and many others. Faculty coaches for this concert include Bronwell Bond, Dr. Lowell Hepler, and Dr. Ronald Stitt. The brass ensemble is conducted by Allegheny music students Tucker Harvey and Jonathan Mendez.
