The boundaries of personal liberty are examined in “Denied Admission,” a new play based on credible fear interviews of asylum seekers who crossed the southern U.S. border. This new work explores the rooms of the legal system, the streets of the Northern Triangle, and the hearts of those seeking a home. “Denied Admission” will be presented Friday, September 13, and Saturday, September 14, at 8 p.m. and Sunday, September 15, at 2:30 p.m. Tickets for Allegheny students are free, but should be reserved in advance here. All others may make reservations here. “Denied Admission” was devised and directed by Katie Beck, Allegheny class of 2014, at Gum-Dip Theatre, her company in Akron, Ohio.
