Hours and Contact Information for the Allegheny Lab for Innovation & Creativity

If you’re interested in using the Allegheny Lab for Innovation & Creativity (ALIC) please email us at alic@allegheny.edu or drop by. Book us for single sessions, full-semester classes, individual work, and module A & B course work. ALIC is a community-wide resource for students, staff and faculty to see their ideas move from idea to prototype. Our staff and on-site faculty are here to help you with any project.

ALIC is located in Doane Hall of Art A104/106.

Lab hours are as follows:

Computer lab
Monday-Thursday: 11:30 am – 1:30 pm, 4 pm to midnight
Friday: 10 am – 9 pm (Assistant Professor Byron Rich is on site from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm)
Saturday: Noon – 5 pm
Sunday: Noon – Midnight

Fabrication lab
Monday – Thursday: 4 pm – 9 pm (Technician Eric Charlton is on site Mondays from 2 pm – 6 pm)
Friday: Noon – 5 pm (Assistant Professor Byron Rich is on site from 10 am until 3 pm)
Sunday: Noon- Midnight

ALIC can facilitate 3D printing, CNC machining, laser cutting, app development, photo editing, video editing, sound editing, graphic design, CAD, GIS, game design, visualization, robotics projects and much more.
