Bystander training, using the nationally acclaimed model, “Bringing in the Bystander,” will be offered on campus this semester. “Bringing in the Bystander” teaches participants how to safely intervene in instances where sexual violence, relationship violence or stalking may be occurring or where there may be risk that it will occur. The program is also applicable more widely in that it will help community members actively confront and challenge all forms of harassment and discrimination. Facilitated by Women’s Services, Inc., sessions will be offered:
• Thursday, October 24 from 7-8:30 p.m.
• Thursday, November 14 from 7-8:30 p.m.
