Branden Jacobs-Jenkins’ “Everybody” is a playful, irreverent take on life as a game of chance that explores the final journey through life’s greatest mystery: What is the meaning of living? At each performance, a lottery determines which cast member will play the character Everybody. Jacobs-Jenkins wittily skewers contemporary views of religion, race, society and the media, and what it means to go to the theatre. The play includes some adult language. Performances are Thursday-Saturday, November 14-16, at 8 p.m. and Sunday, November 17, at 2:30 p.m. in the Gladys Mullenix Black Theatre, Vukovich Center for Communication Arts. Online reservations can be made here. Or, call the box office at (814) 332-3414.
