Twenty student teams (40 total students) will participate in the first annual Financial Literacy Challenge where students will present a personal financial budget and investing plan appropriate for a recent college graduate. The competition will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, December 7, in rooms 122 and 123 in Quigley Hall. The Allegheny Community is invited to attend the final award ceremony that will take place at 2 p.m. in Henderson Auditorium when the judges will award $5,000 in prizes and trophies to student winners.

An outstanding judging panel will evaluate each plan according to the Certified Financial Analyst (CFA®) criteria for excellence in financial planning, and provide positive feedback to students on how they can refine and improve their plan to create a bright financial future.
