Free German street food, interactive games, music and a costume contest will be awaiting you. Be a part of this wonderful celebration and wear your craziest costume! Carnival in Cologne is like Mardi Gras in New Orleans. It is the biggest carnival city of Europe, and every person dresses up in order to celebrate this festival of humanity, acceptance and spring-welcoming. This Friday, Feb. 28 from 5–7 p.m., the German Department brings this great event to Allegheny College at the lobby of the International House (North Village C). See you all!
