Call for Submissions: Annual Student Art Show Moves Online

Due to the disruption of the academic schedule caused by COVID-19 precautions, the Art Department is canceling the physical installation of the Annual Student Art Show. Instead, we will be hosting an online version. We are asking students to submit entries electronically for our Doane Art prizes and the Juror’s Prize. The show will be curated from a selection of the award winners and exhibited on the art gallery website. We invite submissions from all Allegheny students, working in any media. Submission will take place through an online form on Wednesday, March 25, and Thursday, March 26. Each artwork entered should be represented by 1 to 3 uploaded images. The winners will be announced and the exhibition launched on Tuesday, March 31, the original time scheduled for the gallery opening. However, There will be no opening event.
