Civic Engagement and service programs sponsored by the Gateway’s Civic Engagement office as well as other offices and departments remain remote at this time. The lifting of the campus quarantine for students does not change the current guidelines for Allegheny College sponsored engagement in the local community. According to ACHA “all embedded opportunities – such as internships, research assistantships, class projects, and volunteer positions – sponsored by the College will have to be completed remotely until a safe vaccine is available widely.
