International Education in The Allegheny Gateway invites you to a discussion on the water quality in Ecuador on Friday, September 18, at 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.EDT. Dr. Valeria Ochoa, Ph.D.., will lead a discussion to look at the bigger picture of the state of water in Ecuador through a comprehensive lens stretching from the Amazon region to the Galápagos. Dr. Ochoa has a Ph.D. in environmental engineering from the University of Arizona. She is an expert in water quality and treatment of various types of water sources, environmental biotechnology, biofuels, and sustainability. Register here.
