International Education Week Is Ongoing

International Education in the Allegheny Gateway invites you to participate in International Education Week. There are various webinars throughout the remainder of this week and also take a peek at the photo contest entries displayed in the Campus Center. Continuing through Friday, the Photo Contest Entries can be found around the balcony on the second floor of the Campus Center. On Wednesday, November 18, at noon in the Campus Center Lobby, photo contest winners will be announced.

Thursday, November 19, at 2 p.m. ET: Careers in International Education with SIT. The field of International Education encompasses formal and non-formal educational programs around the globe and includes participants ranging in age from pre-school to life-long learners. In this session, you will learn about the breadth of the field, skills used by professionals in International Education, and the kinds of jobs that are available. Register here.

Thursday, November 19, at 3 p.m. ET: Gilman Scholarship–Ask Me Anything! Join the live Gilman Ask Me Anything (AMA) where applicants, parents, advisors, and others will have the opportunity to hear from alumni on the benefits of being a Gilman Scholar and the impact of their experiences abroad. Friday, November 20, at noon ET: Sustainable Megacities–Health, Risks, and Resources; Event by University of Cologne. Join Prof. Dr. Frauke Kraas and PD Dr. Carsten Butsch from the Institute of Geography at the University of Cologne for a webtalk as they will share their research on health and risk management in South and Southeast Asian megacities.
