With regard to employees who have an FSA accounts – under new guidance released by the DOL and the IRS, the time periods in which FSA participants can submit claims and file appeals for adverse determinations are extended. The extension relief provides additional time for impacted participants to file claims and appeals under the plan in accordance with ERISA section 503. Our annual grace period has been extended to December 31, 2021. As further updates are available, we will continue to keep you informed.
