Allegheny Hillel and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Present “From Auschwitz to America: A Holocaust Family Saga” with Dr. Simon Bronner on Wednesday, April 7, at 7 p.m. on Zoom. This presentation is being offered to commemorate Yom Hashoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day). Accompanied by rare photographs, Bronner’s presentation tells the story of his family, whose Holocaust saga begins with residence in Oswiecim, Poland, now known more commonly as Auschwitz. Dr. Bronner is the dean of the College of General Studies and professor of social sciences and business at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He is the author or editor of more than 40 books, including the forthcoming book Jewish Cultural Studies.
