The Director of College Speaking is looking for students interested in joining the Learning Commons peer speaking consultant staff. Peer speaking consultants work with students in Allegheny’s Learning Commons to improve and develop a wide range of oral presentations. The ideal speaking consultant candidate is hard working, intellectually engaged and curious, personable, and supportive of their peers and their success. An ideal applicant has a sense of what makes oral communication more or less effective even if they are not the strongest presenter. The application form can be found here.
