The 2022-2023 FAFSA is live as of Friday, October 1, 2021. If you would like to be considered for federal and need-based aid, please click here to file your FAFSA beginning October 1.
Important points to remember:
1. Students and parents (as appropriate) will use their 2020 income information to file the 2022-2023 FAFSA. The Department of Education is asking families to use Prior-Prior Year (PPY) income information. PPY income information makes the FAFSA easier to use since your 2020 taxes have already been completed and the Data Retrieval Tool (DRT) will be immediately available to use.
2. To receive your maximum financial aid eligibility, please file your FAFSA by Allegheny College’s priority deadline of February 15, 2022.
3. Make sure you enter Allegheny College’s school code (003230) on your FAFSA.
4. Be sure you and your parents (as appropriate) have your FSA identifications ready when filing the FAFSA. If you are not sure if you have a FSA ID or if it’s expired, please click here to confirm your FSA ID using the ‘Manage My FSA ID’ tab.
