Auditions for the Playshop Theatre’s “Proof” will be held 7:30-9:30 p.m. on Monday, October 25 and 6-8 pm. on Tuesday, October 26 in 107 Vukovich Center. There is nothing to prepare in advance; auditioners will be asked to read from the script. Love, reconciliation, and the beauty of mathematics collide in David Auburn’s touching Pulitzer and Tony-winning drama “Proof.” A brilliant play about family legacies, illness, and our potential to make peace with our past. The play features two men and two women characters; one of the women’s parts has been cast (Catherine). We encourage gender non-conforming performers to audition for (the) role(s) with which they most identify. The play will rehearse across January and February; production dates are February 24-27.
