Crawford County will conduct its annual severe weather exercise simulating a tornado warning on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at 11 a.m. Allegheny College will be participating in the exercise and will sound campus sirens and issue an ALERTAllegheny (e2campus) notification.

During this test, we ask that you please reflect on proper protocol and procedures to follow in the event of an actual tornado. You DO NOT need to seek shelter or make changes to your regular routine for this test. If you have questions, please contact the Office of Public Safety at (814) 332-3357.

If you have not already done so, you may sign up to receive emergency text message alerts via ALERTAllegheny (e2campus). You may also download the Allegheny College Omnilert Safety App for your iOS or Android device. The app provides:

  • Instant notifications when campus alert messages are sent
  • A panic button to contact Public Safety for emergency assistance or to report an urgent situation
  • Quick access to other safety resources

Thank you for your attention to this important information.
