The Director of Faculty Diversity and Inclusion at Allegheny College is proud to announce the final speaker in the Race, Equity, and Justice lecture series for the 2021-2022 academic year. On April 22nd, 2022 at 7pm, we will virtually welcome Dr. Chelsea Frazier (Faculty Fellow in English at Cornell University). Dr. Frazier is a Black feminist ecocritic—writing, researching, and teaching at the intersection of Black feminist theory and environmental thought. Her scholarship, teaching, and public speaking span the fields of Black feminist literature and theory, visual culture, ecocriticism, African art and literature, political theory, science and technology studies, and Afrofuturism. Her lecture is titled “Unfamiliar Ecologies.”
