A new section of Political Science 242 (Immigration and Citizenship) is open for fall 2022! This class will be held on MWF from 2:30-3:20. Immigration is an important public policy issue in the U.S. and in an increasing number of countries in the world. In this class we look at global migratory patterns, the history of Mexican migration to the U.S., migrant political participation and activism in the U.S., and U.S. state and local politics. This class may be especially attractive to Political Science, International Studies, and Global Health Studies students (in terms of credits) but will appeal to any student interested in social science. Join us! Please contact Professor Shannan Mattiace with any questions.
