The IDEAS Center is very excited to present Shubham Banerjee as our AAPI Heritage Month speaker. This event will be held virtually, via Zoom, on Friday, May 13 at 7 pm. Shubham will present his story not only as that of a young entrepreneur but also as an Asian American persevering through adversity as he gets to know himself and build a business and life.

Just to share a little bit about Shubham:

At just 13 years old Shubham invented a braille printer using Legos and then quickly went on to be the Evangelist/Founder of Braigo Labs Inc. and the inventor of Braigo after he, as the youngest entrepreneur, received Venture Capital Funding for Braigo Labs Inc. at the age of 14. Shubham was born in Hasselt, Belgium. His family moved to San Jose, California when he was 4 years old. Later he moved to Santa Clara, California and completed his elementary schooling at Don Callejon School. He completed his middle school at Champion School in San Jose and high school at Santa Clara High School (class of 2019). He continues to reside in Santa Clara, California with his parents and younger sister and embarked on a long-term path towards understanding himself as an individual and finding ways to give back to society in his own ways. He is currently pursuing his double Bachelor’s Degree at the University of California Berkeley (College of Engineering and Haas Business School) as part of the M.E.T. Program.

We can’t wait for you to hear from Shubham Banerjee!
