The Director of Faculty Development invites faculty members to participate in an Alternative Grading Teaching Circle during the fall semester, facilitated by Adrienne Krone (Environmental Science & Sustainability and Religious Studies) with support from the Provost’s Office. This Teaching Circle will provide support to faculty members who are planning to implement alternative grading methods (mastery-based testing, ungrading, standards-based grading, contract grading, etc) in their courses during the current academic year. The group will be limited to twelve participants.
Meetings will take place from 12:15pm to 1:15pm on the following Fridays: September 16, September 30, October 14, October 28, November 11, and December 2. Lunch will be provided.
