Springfest Events! 4/21- 4/23

It is time, everyone! GAP, ASG, SASS, MOCCA, BGM, and WARC 90.3 are presenting the Springfest weekend that is finally here. There is so much for you all to engage with this weekend, and it’s all FREE! Below are the details outlining each day of the weekend and what you should be expecting.

TODAY:

Neon Lit Roller Skating Rink – 8 – 10 pm at the Campus Center Lobby

  • FLASH WARNING: The floor will light up and may consist of lights that flash.
  • Roller skates will be provided, please bring your own socks
  • Snack/Concession bar will be provided
  • Springfest T-shirts, Springfest cups, and fun accessories will be provided
  • Music will be provided

Saturday, April 22:

Holi Event – 3 – 5 pm at the Gator Quad
– Festival of throwing colors where colors will be provided
– Water will be involved
– Springfest T-shirts will be provided (if you did not receive one prior)
– Kristen’s Kookies (locally made cookies) will be provided
– Music will be provided

Bubble Foam Pit – 9 – 11:30 pm at the Murray Lawn

  • FLASH WARNING: There will be an electrical board that may have flashing images occurring
  • A foam pit will be provided
  • DJ set with the electrical board will be provided
  • Beach balls and other fun accessories will be provided
  • A variety of food trucks (ice cream, kettle corn, a variety of pizzas, etc. ) will be provided
  • A fire pit will be provided
  • Tents with tables and chairs will be provided

Sunday, April 23:

Splatter Paint on Canvas – 1 – 3 pm at the Gator Quad

  • Chalk Shop (local business) wood canvases and paints will be provided
  • A variety of stencils will be provided
  • Crepes food truck will be provided
  • Music will be provided

Beach Vibes Cookout – 4 – 6 pm at the Gator Quad

  • Fun activities (bounce castle, yard games, etc.) will be provided
  • Water will be involved
  • Authentic food cooked by a student chef will be provided
  • Mocktails (non-alcoholic cocktails) will be provided
  • Music will be provided

Please come to any or everything, as these organizations have dedicated much time and work to creating a fun atmosphere for each of you. If you also have an interest in volunteering to assist us in making sure these events run smoothly, please reach out to GAP President ThiĆ³n about your interest.
