The right person for the grounds crew needs to work well with others, lift 25 lbs or more and be willing to work in sometimes harsh conditions, such as heat, rain, and cold. This person needs to be punctual and be able to take direction. Duties include but are not limited to mowing, mulching, weeding, planting, moving furniture, event set-ups and tear-downs, and cleaning up around the campus are part of the role.
The right person for the paint crew should be detail-oriented, able to take direction and work with others or themselves.
These positions are 35 hrs a week for Allegheny Students and 28 hours a week for non-Allegheny students. This is generally a Monday through Friday job, but some weekends are available. The hourly rate is $14. Please contact Kelly Wright at kwright@allegheny.edu or (814) 332-5378 if interested.
